1981 Avanti II runs great 305 small block recent new cam, lifters, timing chain and gears , oil pump and a re cored radiator. Paint is presentable it has some blemishes and stress cracks showing, interior in good condition Recaro power heated seats.Hog troughs and rear cross member are solid.Sun roof works. Refer to pic of build sheet for details . It shows 24, 000 miles I assume 124, 000 miles TMU. I drive this car on a regular basis I'm not afraid to drive it anyplace very dependable.The car will be sold As IS no guarantees Buy is responsible for pick up and transport.
I have a folder full of maintenance receipts from previous owners going back to when the car was sold new in Texas.
On Jun-23-16 at 12:50:15 PDT, seller added the following information:
AC does work not as cold as I would like. It may need a new condencer that is designed for 134A. It was converted to R134A from R12 System was designed for R12 and I'm sure it must have blown colder with R12 than it does with R134A. I had a 78 Avanti in the past that still ran R12 and you would freeze you a** off. I sure R134A cools better in systems that were designed for it.
