I've had this Lark for about 20 years. It was in a barn for the previous 20+. This has been a long-term project, and I don't have the time to finish it. I started this project with my father, building it to cruise. The car is stored in Des Moines and I live in Kansas City so it's been slow going.
The car is solid. Original seats were shot after critters found their home in them. The front end is from a late 70's Chrysler. Yep, disc brakes and torsion bar front end. The rear end is from the donor Mopar. I had intended to replace it with an 8-3/4 rear, but that never happened. Radiator was built for the car. For the first 600 or so miles after the build, it had the donor 318 Mopar motor. A little over a year ago, we put in a rebuilt 318, which has less than 200 miles on it. Door handles are shaved, and remote door poppers installed. Seats are from a Honda Accord. As you can see from the pictures, the interior isn't all in it. You can also see that it's a pretty solid old car. I still have the original door panels, a second dash and other odds and ends. It drives nice and has a lot of fun times to give. The paint has some chips from being stored in the garage, but it's not bad. Passenger front fender got whacked while in storage.
