1942 Studebaker M5

Studebaker M5 (1942)
for sale

Price: US $6,900.00

Description:

Yes, that is right. .1942 Studebaker M5 pick up truck 1/2 ton. there is nothing really 1942 out there as not many US vehicles were produced during the war, original 170 6 cylinder flathead engine in good condition, 3 speed on the floor with overdrive just like the Studebaker passenger cars from the same era, original condition, straight body just very minor dents/scratches, 6 volt electrical system, good glass, trailer hitch, good seat, working original AM radio, working original Studebaker heater, original bumpers with stock front guard; this truck was owned by the late Tommy Sparks, avid midget car racer (1950s), and flathead Ford guru from the LA area, the truck has been sitting for almost 5 years after being almost daily driver, but it runs, drives, stops, moves under it's own power; good engine, tranny, clutch, would take little to be an every day driver again (6 volt battery is old and weak, needs a good tune up, headlights are burnt), clean Ca. title on hand, registration here in California is a year behind; lost storage forces sale.
This vehicle is being sold AS IS, WERE IT IS, NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTIES ARE OFFERED OR IMPLIED; any towing fees if needed are to be paid by the buyer; absolutely no money back; U$1.000 non refundable deposit is required within 72 hours of auction ending, the balance should be in cash delivered upon pick up of vehicle and paperwork, the truck won't leave my premises untill fully paid; inspections are welcome, I'm in the Los Angeles Ca. area, please call 323 5478049 to set something up; please ask all your questions before bidding; I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time, as the truck is advertised locally for sale; NO RESERVE ON THIS RARE AND SPECIAL VEHICLE.
