Offered is a remarkable western 1956 Studebaker President Classic Sedan. This was Studebaker's top of the line sedan in 1956 and is one of only 8500 built. Model 56H-Y6. This car came from dry central Oregon and is remarkably rust free and has an absolutely beautiful original interior. The seats must have been covered by clear plastic covers as they are like new! The car runs and drives very nicely, is a good freeway cruiser, had the brakes done recently, and has new wide whitewall tires. The original paint is really remarkable for a 60 year old car. Some panel spotting which does not match correctly and some thin spots, but overall a wonderful preservation look. Car needs carpets, which are available reasonably in kits. This is a great car for someone who wants to drive and enjoy their car while doing minor simple upgrades as they go along. Long ownership by Studebaker Driver's Club members. I looked for years to find a President Classic this nice and this original and am only selling as something else is begging to get in to my garage! Clear Oregon title.
