Fresh barn find 1955 Studebaker President State Coupe, 259 V-8, 4 barrel, with 3 speed overdrive, second series original two tone pima red/ tilden gray paint and light green interior. A SOLID, mostly complete, unmolested, original example in need of total restoration. The car originally came from South Dakota, where purchased it some twenty years ago. Since then it has sat in a barn awaiting restoration. I am now in the process of relocating and have decided to find good homes for cars that I will never have time for. Nearly everything is there, and I have some items which are not pictured, plus other parts available. Great restoration, custom, rat rod, or Bonneville candidate. Front drivers side floor and front fenders are in need of patching, (repair panels are available from Classic Enterprises) but the remainder of the floors, trunk, and fenders are solid. (please see photos for condition) President coupes and hardtops are becoming highly sought after as Speedsters continue to increase in value and are in limited supply, so don't miss this chance to own one of the most desirable Studebakers of the 1950s. I have been a member of SDC for over 25 years, and would like to see this car go to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it. I am open to reasonable offers and terms.
