My Studebaker needs a new home overall its a nice old car that was restored years ago before I got it so I do not have a full history of it it. I do know that it has been a garage queen for a very long time I have used it very little In the last year all fluids were drained and replaced , the brake system was rebuilt and the brakes work , the carb was rebuilt, new tires were fitted, a new 6 volt battery was installed , the suspension and steering work properly with no suspension noises, underside of car shows very little rust looks solid for its age
Interior is also in restored condition and is very nice there are no tears or holes the seat springs and frame work appear to be in like new condition, head liner has no tears or holes in it, the carpet is not original to the era of car and has been glued in place, the steering wheel is in solid excellent condition the horn works the dash and guage cluster are in excellent condition all the guages work including the speedometer, glove box is complete, glass is in great condition as is the chrome thru out the car there are small imperfections in the chrome strip that attaches to the top of the rear quarter panels they have small impressions on both sides other then that the chrome is in almost like new condition
Car comes with a box of misc. parts, original shop manual, original parts book and an extra 1953 radio

| “Nice car older restoration has mostly been sitting in quite comfort with little use since the restoration it drives good and the engine runs good builds good oil pressure, with no unusual noise the transmission shifts a little sloppy it has a three speed with overdrive and it shifts into all gears sounds a little noisy The lights,horn,and radio work but cannot get the radio to tune in a station,wiper turns on cannot get heater fan to operate small impressions in the chrome strip that is attached on the top side of rear quater panels The red paint on the car is in above average condition for its age with several small bubbles on the front and center of the hood and a few small older paint imperfections here and there it has also had some touch up work done on it in past years,the white top is in excellent condition no dents,chips or scratches,the overall body condtion is quite good with 2 very small dents in the trunk lid Passenger side rear window is stuck in the almost closed position” |
