What you have here is a project car. This car has been in my family since it was purchased in 1953. My Father originally had this as a show car, so it does have some interesting modifications. There is some amazing pen stripping in the door jams and on the dash of the car. My father also frenched in 57 Chevy Chrome head light trim rings. He also installed a Chevy 283, that I believe is out of a corvette. The number on the front of the head is 0658605F56F and on the back of the motor the number is GM 3720081, on the intake manifold the number is 3746829 GM 4. The motor was running a couple of years ago but it hasn't been ran since then. I started to look at doing the restoration work but injured myself and I am unable to complete the restoration. The car was worked on for a few years, so certain things have been done to the car. The brake lines have been cut, I have tried to remove them. I had the Gas Tank restored by Gas Renew. The car was some what dismantled when I got it back from the shop working on it, so I am not sure of the parts. They had started to take out the seats and removed some of the foam from the front seats. The car is very solid and has some surface rust on it but there is no major rust in the vehicle. It has been garaged for the last 20 years. Intake is off of a 58 - 61 Corvette. The car needs a new home and someone that can spend the time to restore it and drive it. I am unable to do that at this time. The car does not run in its current condition and is forsale locally.
