This Subie will need engine repair. I bought this for my friend a year ago from an elderly couple whom ran it through an auction near Providence, Rhode Island. It has no rust, nor ever did. The underside looks as good as the top. It was regularly maintained and garage kept almost it's entire life. I have the original title copy showing the couple were both in their 70's. It ran great for one year then my friends daughter took it to work and called stranded with engine trouble. It will only sputter when attempting to start. A local mechanic said it may need a new motor, but she can't afford the repair, so I'm selling it for her. Inside and out is in good condition, but does have normal wear for age. The windshield was cracked during the recent tow. Transmission and drive train is in very good condition, only needs engine work. Everything was working perfect before the engine trouble. A/C, heat, gauges, windows, mirrors etc all worked great. Clear Iowa title signed open. This is a RARE find. Fix the engine and you will have a great car.
