I am a shop foreman and senior master technician at my local Subaru dealership. I purchased this car off a customer who cold not afford the repairs after the turbo charger blew an oil seal.
Installed brand new OEM turbo, and had been driving it around. It devolved a slight rod knock, so I've parked the car, I don't have time to fix it at the moment. The engine still runs and drives, however in the interest of preventing further damaged I parked it. Was a great running, smooth car before the engine started making noise.
It Comes with Stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywhee installed less than 10K ago (have receipts), one piece aluminum drive shaft, new brakes, Intake, OEM exhaust installed, 3 turbo back minus rear muffler is included.
Has all leather interior, turbo timer, and various goodies as pictured,
Title is branded as a water damaged car. Back in 2011, the car was caught in a rainstorm and water filled it slightly past the floor boards. The carpet was replaced along with the body harness. I have inspected everything since buying the car and there is no pesky electrical issues present.
This car is a solid rust free southern car and a steal for someone who can do engine work. Body has its imperfections, I was going to respray the front end if I was to keep the car. Tires are due for replacement.
Selling the car AS-IS, I would tow it home. I can also work out a deal with the buyer to repair the engine at my dealership if they are interested. I currently do not have time to work on it outside of dealership hours, my loss is your gain!
