2008 Subaru Outback for sale that is in very good cosmetic condition however I do believe that the engine needs some major work, our mechanic said it needed replacing. He also said the catalytic converter is shot, and said something about some valve blowing oil into the engine that shouldnt be doing so. He recommended that I help put his kids through college by replacing the engine for a hefty fee, however we bought this car new, its done us well, and i don't want to put a new engine or any money into it. The car starts and runs fine, but every so often it will smoke like crazy everywhere, run very bad, and not be drivable. Then the next day it seems normal again, until it has its next episode of smoking and not wanting to run. The last time i drove it was from the mechanics shop, about 16 miles and i had no problems, its been parked in my garage since then. It starts no problem and makes a small vibrating sound, as well as leaks a little oil. Other than that, the interior and exterior are very good shape. There is a few minor scratches on the exterior, but no major dents or dings.If you have any further questions let me know. This car is being sold as is, where is, no warranty, no cooling off period.
