Selling my 2002 Subaru WRX Wagon with Hail Damage - 122, 449 miles - relisted @ NO RESERVE
This was my very reliable daily drive - just no more room to keep and not driving enough to justify letting it sit, needs a good home and somebody to appreciate!
- 2.0 turbocharged engine - Engine is upgraded with a VF-34 turbo, STI 565cc injectors, Cobb Tuning Stage 3 Engine Map - Tune has conservative rev-limit, full boost @ 1.2bar- Has turbo-back stainless 3 steel exhaust with a Borla Hush Stainless muffler, the stainless up-pipe and turbo-back exhaust with two high flow cats purchased from Xcceleration.com- Both have additionally been coated with aerospace-type ceramic thermal barrier coating from Swaintech.- New AC compressor and top-side hose installed, just needs replacement o-ring on dryer side tube + vacuum & re-charge- 5-speed manual transmission (currently JDM 4.44 front/rear differential)- Front and side air bags- Full time all-wheel-drive (AWD)- 17-inch alloy OZ Superleggera wheels with Goodyear Eagle Authority tires - excellent tread - H&R Lowering Springs (original springs included)- TMIC Upgraded w/ larger aftermarket bar-plate unit (silicone hoses & coupler) - Perrin MAF to Turbo intake hoses- New Hotchkis Front-End Links (w/grease zert)- Group-N Motor & Transmission Mounts- Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator (lifetime warranty)- Mishimoto Silicon Upper/Lower Radiator hosts w/t-clamps
@ 95, 000 miles - Camshaft seals, CV boots, timing belt (scheduled maintenance for ~95, 000 miles), all other belts, water pump, thermostat, and steering bellows were replaced. @ 115, 000 miles - Serviced w/ new Exedy Stage-1 HD clutch, upgraded to new Exedy Lightened flywheel, replaced valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, valve cover breather gaskets, new upgraded belts@ 120, 000 miles - Installed JDM 4.44 Ratio 5-Speed transmission/differential (replaced original 3.90 5-Speed due to damage, it and the original 3.90 differential are included in auction + another parts 4.44 transmission)
Flaws:- significant HAIL DAMAGE dents on the roof and hood. - See pictures- windshield has a crack on the upper passenger side.- 4.44 transmission center differential could use replacement bearing/races - its reliable and can be driven but does make noise on deceleration ~ $200 in parts to fix- slight leak oil on passenger side valve cover
Included in auction:- TurboXS UTEC (used unit, bought for car but never installed)- Original exhaust from Turbo-back / up-to muffler section- Original Intercooler with silicon y & intake coupler- Second set of original Subaru alloy wheels with all season tires mounted (good tread but aging)- Subaru brake pads- Subaru OEM oil filters
