We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this CLEAN, LOCAL TRADE, 2004 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX powered by a 2.0L Turbo and 5-Speed Transmission with ONLY 56, 803 ACTUAL MILES. This vehicle was traded in by a local gentleman and it is in need of engine repair. From what the gentleman explained to us is while storing the vehicle at his fathers home, his father not being experienced in a manual transmission attempted to move the car. Not knowing how to drive a manual and not having experience with a vehicle of this power the car lunged forward colliding with another car parked in the garage and stalling the engine. His father tried to restart the WRX and it would not start. Apparently the sudden stop of the engine caused the timing chain to break. The gentleman who owned the vehicle bought the parts to repair the engine but after dissembling the front of the engine realized he was in over his head and there the car sat for over 7 years. A home and baby later he decided that he no longer needed a WRX and traded it in on a van. We have all of the parts removed and most of the parts to repair the engine. When the WRX ran into the rear of the other vehicle it did lightly damage the bumper, hood, and possibly radiator however nothing serious. No other areas of the vehicle were damaged. The vehicle, prior to his father attempting to move it was a very nice car. The exterior paint, body, moldings, etc. . are in good condition. The interior is a NON-SMOKER and quite clean. The WRX is an extremely desirable car and this one with ONLY 56, 803 miles could be very sought after once repaired. This vehicle although needing repaired was not abused or modified. EXTERIOR: With exception of the damaged front end the car is nice. As stated above the vehicle has damage to the front bumper, hood, and possibly radiator. Also the wheels do have some curb rash. The rest of the vehicle is in good condition.
INTERIOR: Non-Smoker and very clean. the interior shows very little if any wear.
DRIVE TRAIN: Needs engine repair. The timing chain broke and the vehicle will not run. Therefore we can not guarantee the overall condition of the engine.
