*This car has only been through one northeast winter- it has spent most of its life in Florida and NC. Also this is only truely a 2 owner car. I bought it off my father last year* This 2008 WRX hatch premium is up for sale. I am selling it because I am moving cross country and need the money to fund the move. Though this car has over 70k on the chassis the motor has less than 28k miles. Cylinder 4's ring land cracked due to common factory issue. The motor did not detonate, knock, or destruct in any way. The problem was caught early. The motor was completely replaced by a Subaru Dealership. The motor has not been modded, has not been abused, and has its oil and regularly scheduled maintenance performed on schedule. I have always warmed this car up prior to going into boost. I am a professional adult, not a irresponsibly teenager.
The car is in fantastic shape. It has front seat heaters, rear window defroster. There have been a few choice modifications performed. All mods but the short shiftier were installed professionally. This is no hack job ricer car. The car is running stock power, and is not tuned. All mods were tasteful and do not effect reliability
List:-Two sets of wheels/tires: 18x8 wheels with 235 Continental DWS (all season tires) with low mileage - pictured on the car, 17x8 +35 wheels with Dunlop Direzza Starr Spec ZII's (BEST SUMMER TIRES EVER!!!! with less than 1000 miles on them - these are the dirty tires pictured. Both wheels look fantastic on car. -Perrin Catback Exhaust (no highway drone and just enough noise over stock to make you smile).-Kartboy Short Throw Shiftier with Kartboy Front Shiftier bushing for sweet as Fuhhh shifts. -Vorshlag AST 4100 single adjustable coilovers. - these are THE best entry level coilover on the market. At full soft, these shocks are more comfy than a stock M3. I have personally done 16 hour drives on this suspension setup with no complaints. At full stiff the car becomes a tank. I rarely adjust the dampening and usually leave at full soft with the rear's one click hard. It makes the car an absolute hoot. The shocks were corner balanced for me in the driver seat (I am around 200lbs). The shocks were installed by 42autosports-A Bluetooth/USB/AUX/Pandora head-unit - JVC KW-R910BT - The headunit works with the factory steeringwheel buttons and also has hands free calling via a microphone I mounted in the gauge cluster (pictured)-Rally Armor UR mudflaps-Fresh Battery
This is a rare opportunity to get a used WRX that is not falling apart, and has been tastefully modded. This is how the car should have come from the factory. It has served me well and I am sad to see it go. You can fit your whole life in this car, carve a canyon, or pick up your kids or best friends in it. All this can be done (except for canyon carving) at 30mpg on the highway. It really does it all.
