Up for auction is a fresh build, garage
kept, turn-key, functionally modified 1987 Suzuki Samurai. This vehicle was
purchased from an acquaintance, who, when nearing completion of this project, needed funds to purchase some real estate. Being a Samurai enthusiast, I gladly purchased it from him, and then with
a vision for it, and a better attention to detail, have completed it to my satisfaction. Based on what he had started with (could
have used a better donor body), it turned out very well. Only a few minor deficiencies remain - a
small out-dent on the hood from closing it down onto a tool, he repaired instead
of replacing some body parts prior to paint, and kept the rear drum brakes in
lieu of a rear disc conversion. Really the only parts that are not brand new, or
not refurbished or reconditioned (though were rebuilt in the past) are the
transfer case w/skid plate, the engine, and transmission, which were minimally used
