This little SUV is great for an economical city runabout, weekend trips or to travel along with you and your RV. This one is one owner only, properly maintained and cared for since driven off the showroom floor in 2003. The mileage is mostly freeway miles. Never out of California & garaged most of its life. Minor parking lot scratches here and there and one small dent under the back bumper, but the body overall is in very good condition. No accidents. New transmission fluid & filter, new front brakes, cleaned back brakes, new radiator, new hoses, new drive belts and all necessary fluid changes. Passed smog Dec. 2015. Car is ready to drive until the next oil change is due. Air that runs ice cold. Has remote door locks, CD/AM/FM audio system, tilt wheel, full size spare, 2 newer tires with paperwork, all original manuals, 3 keys, 2 remotes, & newer side plastic windows. The rear seat can seat 3, and folds up to give you a large cargo area for storing vacation gear, moving items, etc. Has nifty airline-type map lights in the front cabin, two cigarette lighter/power supplies for cell/computer power. 25 MPG. Similar to the Samurai, this car has a lot of get up and go and is a lot of fun to drive. The repair and maintenance costs on this car have been very, very minimal.
The rear gate plastic window could use replacing at some point, but has no major scratches nor tears. Soft top is in fine condition. All zip-out windows and replacement vinyl top are easily available from Best Top as standard items and also found readily on Ebay.
Flaws include: small tear in driver's side carpet, some wear in driver's seat, minor paint scrapes, wear in back window, spare tire cover needs re-stitching, a few small windshield dings.
