First off, let me start by stating that I believe in full-disclosure and open and honest communication. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability and I encourage you to come look at the car, and go for a drive if you are local. It's a truly amazing car!
I purchased this car custom-ordered from Tesla in June. It was my first Tesla, and I was excited! I saved for a long time to get this car, and at the time, the 70D was the base model which was all I could afford. I am self-employed so I don't need a car to commute in, so it was used only for pleasure and road trips, so most if it's mileage is highway. I've since found a replacement car which is a little older that I purchased at insurance auction. I'm now going to fix that one up and sell my original so I can use the money for other things. It has many upgrades and extras you will not see on other cars! This car will redefine what you think about cars!
I've been a long time Electric Vehicle fan and activist, have even built my own EVs. My day job is coming up with ways to help others enjoy their electric vehicles! (Google Electric True Believers to see the article the New York Times did on me 5 years ago.) (Handle is Ingineer) I think the Model S is hands down the best car on the planet at any price!
There are some minor scuffs and dings on the rear bumper and some curb rash on the wheels, but it's not visible unless you are close up. The car looks fabulous! I have had the Chrome trim covered with 3M black wrap and the windows tinted. It's an awesome white/black look that I think looks super amazing on a Model S. One of my friends called it the stormtrooper look. =)
The car has been well taken care of, garaged when not in use and the battery pack maintained at 60-70% most of the time. Because of this, the pack has no signs of degradation or capacity loss and reports a like-new 225 amp-hour capacity (see picture of diagnostic screen). The EPA rated range is 240 miles, and the car will easily do over that if you drive smoothly. When I spec'd this car out, I was a little worried about the capacity difference between this (70) and the 85 cars, but I've been on many road trips and I can safely say there is absolutely no problem with range. You save about $10k by getting a 70, and it's also Tesla's most efficient model.
It's only been to Tesla service for a few minor issues it had upon delivery, and been flawless ever since. Autopilot and summon work great and are amazing on trips or in traffic.
I've upgraded the sound system with new Infinity door speakers and a powered subwoofer in the back in the Secret trunk. I've also added awesome upgraded LED interior lighting in the cabin front and rear, trunk, and frunk. The tinting was professionally installed ceramic heat and UV blocking film and keeps the car cool in the sun as well as enhancing appearance, privacy, and security.
Tires are 21 Michelin Pilot Sport and are in good shape with plenty of tread left. All other systems are in perfect shape, as this car doesn't even have 7000 miles yet! Clean and clear one-owner California title. Both original key fobs are included and are in perfect condition.
I also have the access code to get the car into the secret service menus, and am willing to give them to the new owner. I will also be happy to assist in the future should you ever need anything for the car or have any questions or issues. (I know these cars inside and out and can diagnose them just like Tesla technicians can.) How many people selling you a used car will do this for you?!?
Supercharging, Tinted Windows, Internet access with built-in browser, WiFi, Bluetooth, Navigation with Google Maps, Voice Activation, Streaming Radio, Homelink, Remote Access, Keyless Entry, and running latest software (2.12.126). Every feature and system on this car is working perfectly.
The Tesla Model S is the safest car in production, and also enjoys the lowest operating costs and highest resale value of any car in it's class.
If you don't want/need the subwoofer, I can easily remove it for you.
