Autopilot is a must option in a any Tesla as the company is constantly improving/updating the software to one day in future of near fully autonomous driving capacity. Unfortunately... the previous generation Model S simply do not have the autopilot hardware... It's like having an old iPhone which can not improve with coming updates.
My first Tesla was a first generation P85 which I drove near 40K miles before sellingNew Refreshed Model S is so much a better car...The car is much more quiter, smoother, interior fit and finish has improved drastially
This car has more usable range than the previous generation 85kW single motor carsConsistently getting around 250 kW/mile (compare to 320 to 330 kW/miles in previous generation)I believe having dual motors is the key to the significant improvement to the efficiency of the car
