I was just about the first in line to get the Tesla Model S. I ordered it with every last whistle and bell option package available and took delivery of the car in December 2012. It lived in my garage full time and I never had a daily commute - though I amassed a few miles taking it around for all my errands plus a few road trips. This remains the best car I have ever owned BY FAR. It glides like a hovercraft and has exceptional silent power. Tesla's supercharger network allows you to travel with ease now to pretty much any corner of the country. I decided to sell the car since I don't have the need to own a car in San Francisco and found it usually just sitting in the garage.
