Listed here is a beautiful black on black 2008 Tesla Roadster. At the time of my purchase (in April of 2013) she had approximately 2, 900 miles on the odometer, and now she has approximately 4, 354 miles. During my time with the car she has never seen snow and is almost exclusively driven in ideal summer conditions. I took her in for routine maintenance service after taking delivery in 2013, and have since taken her in for another maintenance service in April of 2015. At this time I also had the HVAC replaced. I have records of both service visits and those records will go to the next owner. I charge her using a 110v Spare Mobile Connecter, which will be included with the purchase. When charging I typically see her charge up to approximately 185-192 miles (this is on Standard Mode... I have never charged her to max range). Soft top and carbon fiber (black) hard top will also be included with the purchase (The hard top is missing an inner plastic component which did not come with the car when I purchased her. This doesn't impact the functionality or use of the hardtop, but it does expose some manufacturer stickers on the inside, which you will see in the photo). Car cover and owners manual will also be included with purchase.
I have babied this car since purchasing her and she is an absolute thrill to drive. I can't take the car out for a cup of coffee without someone stopping to ask me about her. A fantastic aspect of the Roadster is that she's an ideal fit for different types of drivers. Whether you have an infatuation with incredibly quick sports cars (0-60 in 3.9 seconds), collect rare and/or limited production vehicles (only approximately 2, 500 Tesla Roadsters were produced globally), or you're not traditionally a car person but are looking to go electric or drive something different without using a drop of gas, this car is for you. Doing a walk-around it's obvious the car is in excellent condition, both inside and out, but in trying to be as particular as possible I did notice a few imperfections. I tried to capture these imperfections to the best of my ability and have included those photos. On the front right fender there are two small marks, and on the front left fender there is a slight blemish, as well. There is also some staining on one of the plastic components under the hood near the fans. On the inside of the car where the driver and passenger step in, there are two plastic components that have small cracks. To identify these above blemishes, someone would need to be looking very carefully.
Please understand; I did my absolute best to describe the vehicle, her options and condition, to the best of my ability, but I am not an expert on this particular vehicle, nor am I pretending to be, and it is still a used car being sold without a warranty. If you are seriously interested in purchasing her and would like to see her in person or have an expert take a look, you're more than welcome to do so. Inspections welcomed. A $500 deposit will be required within 48 hours of the auction expiring, and payment in full will be required within 7 days of the auction expiring. For final payment, bank wire is preferred, however I will also accept a certified check. As seller, I hold the ability to end the auction early if I receive an acceptable offer. This vehicle is available for local pick-up. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
