Up for sale today is our 2008 Toyota 4 Runner limited with full-time 4WD. That's right, high teens in mileage with the safety and all weather capability of full time 4WD! Kept us safe in the snow, rain, ice and mud every year! It has been my wife's daily driver since 2010 with just over 32xxx on it. We are the second owners. Never towed since we have owned it [though it came with factory tow wiring] even with the class 3 hitch on the rear. We have used this vehicle for local and long distance trips. Well maintained, it has gotten oil changes regularly. All scheduled maintenance is up to date. Since we have purchased it [at about 32, 000 miles] the differentials have had fluid changed, transmission fluid flushed with filter, radiator coolant changed, front brake rotors, pads, calipers, rear rotors and pads, lower steering shaft, timing belt and water pump, cat back exhaust, sway bar links, couple other things like fuel filters, etc. Everything it needs, it gets.
Motor has tons of power. Gets 15-16 around town and 16.5-17.5 on interstate. First version of Toyota VVT [Variable Valve Timing] which is awesome for power and economy. No squeaks rattles, etc. Transmission goes great, smooth shifts [5 speed auto]. 4WD works perfectly. The brakes are good, been about 30k miles since the rear brakes were changed [pads and rotors], fronts are brand new [pads, rotors, calipers]. Tires decent, Bridgestone Dueler AT [second set of tires will go with truck if it hits reserve, [Firestone Destination LE2 in good shape]. Exterior wise I would say a solid 9 if you compare to a new vehicle. The couple normal wear items already mentioned. Paint glows when washed, lighted running boards function properly. Roof rack is working great. Factory tint in good shape. Sunroof fully operational. Rear window had functional defroster and slides up and down. Rear gate self latches, no need to slam. Spare is present. Headlights are projector style [super bright]. Automatic headlights. Fog lights work great [factory option]. Front bug deflector. 18 alloy rims. Leather interior, carpet floors. Premium JBL sound with multi disc CD player. Navigation with large display. Six-way power front seats with two memory settings and heat. Drivers air powered lumbar support. Leather steering wheel. Two zone HVAC with rear blower. 110 volt power outlet in center console. Pockets on rear of the front seats. Intermittent wipers, on and on. Rear cargo divider. Rear console with cup holders, rear heat/AC, etc.
A real nice solid vehicle I would drive anywhere. We are considering expanding our family, so that's why this is up for sale [need 6 seats]. If you have questions, send me a message. Currently truck is in overall great condition inside and out with very few flaws. Here are the flaws as we know them: two small dings on the hood [see picture], one on drivers door. None cracked the paint. Two rims have paint peeling [see pictures]. Drivers seat has approximately 2 tear in lower bolster. One nighttime dash light on heater display out. Fuel door has never fit properly to body lines [see picture]. Exhaust has leak at manifold [common for these trucks] you cant hear inside, but can hear outside. Otherwise everything works great.
