I recently bought this car from a college student but because of some unexpected financial issues, I have to sell it. He said the guy before him put a lot of love into it and before that it was a set car for movies! It's in good condition. The odometer reads 281, 163 but there's suspect of a rebuild. The motor is an original 1984 FJ 60 motor. It runs very well and flies on the highway. I just had the smog pump replaced as well as the water pump belt and air pump hose.I have the receipt and the glove box is full of receipts and forums dating way back. It also has the original manuals and what I believe is the original jack and tool set. Clean title in hand. The engine is pretty dirty from a power steering leak. It was just a loose tube, easy fix. It runs strong. As for its looks, it has minor wear on the inside aside from some sun damage on the doors leather. Looks there was a sound system installed at one point, but it's now radioless. Dash has multiple cracks. Other than a few spots on the drivers seat and two burn marks on the floor, the cab is pretty much spotless. The outside is a little more worn. It was a set car for most of its life so there are four man made marks on the body. Which I think is cool! Rust around the back wheels and a little on the hood and near the back bumper. Brand new tires. The car is beautiful but I just don't have the money to give it the attention it deserves! It would be a perfect candidate for restoration.
