This is a fully nut and bolt retored vintage Land Cruiser. It is finished in the iconic color of Dune Beige. It has been upgraded to make it safer and nicer to drive. These upgrades include the later, more powerful 2F engine with new Weber Carb, 4 speed trans, power steering and brakes, and new ics cold A/C System. The vehicle has only been driven 177 miles since completion. The photos speak for themselves. The paint and body work was done to a decent driver standard , and is not show quality. I have seen a few of these fully restored FJ40s and they all seem to have been to done to this same standard. One of them was bought for huge dollars at one of the prestigious Pebble Beach Auctions. So I guess this is acceptable to the FJ crowd. It runs, drives and stops very well . It is ready to start a whole new life and needs nothing other than a new owner . ..[that fits ]. ;] The truck otherwise looks brand new inside out and top to bottom. I received it on trade against a 1997 Defender 90 as the owner's wife would not drive a stick. I planned on keeping it in my collection, but at 6' 2 , I am too tall to fit in it comfortably.
