Up for auction is this beautiful, very nice and clean 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. I am the 3rd owner, first one being a medical doctor in the KC area, then a pastor and now me. This has been our daily driver since owning and it is an amazing drive! It starts easily and cruises at highway speeds of 75 mph with no problem. The interior is beautiful, the best I have had with my 3 Land Cruisers. The dash has ZERO cracks and looks new. Seats are in very nice condition. The driver seat has a small tear on the left side. Besides that, I cannot think of anything else. The carpet is in good condition and dash looks nice! AC and Heater work, with strong air. AC does not blow ice cold, but I am also charging this week. Has factory cassette/radio that works really well. Has power intenna that works but the bottom recently broke. Functions, just needs to be put back on. As previously mentioned, before me this was purchased from the original owner, a medical doctor, who started to use it less frequently the last several years he owned it. The vehicle has only had two owners before me. The original owner is from Topeka, Kansas and the gentleman I bought it from is from Kansas City, Missouri where I live. It actually has a nice paint job. There is some rust which I have tried to show in pics. I was going to repaint and repair the rust but just never got around to it. Paint job is actually really nice except the right rear quarter panel and where there is some rust on edges. Previous owner backed into a light pole and dented the right rear quarter panel (see pics). A couple months ago the “engine” light came on. I took it immediately to our mechanic and it was an O2 sensor so we replaced. It also started sputtering a little so I also had the gas tank taken out, cleaned and flushed, the fuel pump replaced and I have not had any problems since then. Electronic fuel injectors rebuilt close to a year ago. Newer BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A 33X10.50R15LT tires that are in good shape. Newer trailer hitch (used for bike rack). Newer stainless steel muffler and rear exhaust.
This is a beautiful Land Cruiser. I get comments several times a week with people telling me how much they love it. Even my banker told me today she saw me driving this weekend and loved it. The next owner will truly have a treasure. I am selling this vehicle as is with a clean/clear title. Please ask any and all questions before the end of this auction, my cell is 913.706.3120.
