This 1974 is a survivor that has lived its life in Eastern Washington. Previous owners used it for a summer and fall hunting vehicle and always garaged during winters. It is a very solid, nice driver , awesome woods cruiser and looks good enough to be parked in any upscale neighborhood
The drivetrain is all original, fires right up, idles smooth, little rich, and has plenty of power. The transmission, clutch are great and 4x4 is working as it should.
The body is very dry , one repaint about 10 years ago and only rust bubbles in lower rear corners. The floors, fenders, bib , hood and windshield are all original. This FJ40 is about as solid as you can find in original condition.
Electrical is all working , except for horn. Heater works great and a CD player has been installed in dash.
Newer best top soft top with no tears or bad zippers. The soft doors are from older best top and are in good condition.
Interior is complete and original, in good shape with dash having been capped.
Decent tires on original wheels and wearing original hubcaps.
There are 2 fuel tanks and that really helps for back country exploring.
Recent work includes, new fuel tank, inspected rear tank, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor.
