Up for sale is this beautifully clean, stock, and RUST FREE 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser. This FJ62 is a 2-owner southern truck, always garaged, and always babied. It is extremely clean inside and out! The second owner was a lady from Huntsville Alabama who bought it from the original owner in 2000. We picked this truck up from here about 9 months ago and have been daily driving it ever since. Rust free inside and out, very clean original and un-restored interior with very little excessive wear on the driver's seat. Aside from being rust free and and very clean, everything on this truck WORKS! Heat, AC, all power windows (even auto feature) power mirrors, etc. Even all the illumination works as it should from the gauge lights, to the selector lever illumination, to the blue AC button! This FJ62 has received a ton of maintenance and upgrades in the past 3k miles. Here is a list of the work that has been performed. ...Water pump, fan clutch, thermostat, coolant temp sensor, aluminum radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, coolant flush, alternator, all 3 drive belts, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, in-tank fuel pump and sock filter replaced, new windshield installed, all front tie rods replaced with greasable units from CCOT, steering stabilizer, transfer case service, transmission fluid filter and service, oil change, front calipers rebuilt, rear wheel cylinder replaced, 31x10.5 BFG All Terrain KO tires installed (1500mi ago) This FJ62 is rock solid and needs very little. Runs smooth and strong, drives excellent with no vibrations, and shifts better than any other FJ62 we have ever driven, period! The truck does have 2 oil leaks, one is the front crank seal, and the other is the rear main. On a cold start, you have to hit the gas pedal a couple times, but always starts first try. Tracks straight and true. Truly an excellent running, driving, and shifting FJ62!
