Selling a Beautiful 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ40) for a customer. They've owned this truck since 1999 and I'm they are the 2nd owner. Within the last year, they did a full restoration on it, including paint, engine overhaul, wiring, interior upholstery. This is one of the toughest looking FJ40's I have ever seen. It was designed by Rolling Projects out in CA and completed by a few local shops.
Paint
- Paint is 9.9/10. Beautiful. No dents/dings. Fuji White Paint color. RUST FREE TRUCK! Have two sets of doors (metal ones you see in picture as well as a set of black vinyl doors).
Interior
- Interior is newly finished. Perforated Vinyl to allow for spills, rain, sea water, or whatever else you can get into with it.
Mechanically:
Original Toyota Motor in it which is one of the things that make these trucks so special/valuable. New Alternator, Aluminum Radiator, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, rebuilt carburetor, filters, etc. All New! Starts up fast and runs great. It's a 1966 so you do not need a smog. Transmission shifts as it should and is fun to drive.
Suspension:
Has what I think is a 3 inch lift.
This truck is missing a few weatherstrippings/gromets/shiftknob that I just do not have the time to replace. I also have the hard top but it is not restored. I do have a soft vinyl top for it as well as a set of vinyl doors. I will include everything that I have for it in the listing.
This is really a no-frills truck from 1966 that you can modify to your liking upon purchasing. You will have a ton of fun driving this thing and is only going up in value.
