You are bidding on a very unique Turbo Diesel, 4 wheel drive with high and low transfer case, right hand drive passenger van. Imported directly from Japan from the 1 and only original owner, who picked it up himself from the Toyota dealership in Japan in July 1989. I deal with a lot of Toyota vans of this vintage, this is one of the cleanest out there. The Middle row of seats swivel 360 degrees to face front or back. All rear seats flatten into a bed/sleeping platform. All rear seats also very easily removed! The odometer on the van reads 117, 414 Kilometers which is approx 72, 940 miles. These vans pass emissions way below the maximum threshold in all states, CA may be an exception, so check with your local DMV if you're in CA. Right hand side driving only takes about an hour or two to get used to, if you've never done it. I actually prefer it now that I'm used to it.
It has TEMS - Toyota's electric modulated suspension that regulates and senses rough roads from smooth ones and adjusts accordingly, also stiffens suspension when you brake hard, etc. The van looks great, although as any 27 year old vehicle it is not perfect. Rear bumper has a small scuff, and one of the wheels isn't matching to the set These vans were not designed to be speed demons, they can cruise happily at 65mph up to spurts of 75mph if you needed, making it a great daily driver, but not as great for speeding down the highway all day. Many parts for this van can be had overseas and in Canada, the drive train and engine parts are very common here and abroad, they made these engines in Japan up until 1999.
Vehicle is sold as is with no implied warranty, but has no apparent or known mechanical issues. This thing turns heads. I get attention every time I take it for a drive.
