1986 Vintage Toyota Hilux Pickup 36k original miles! 1 Owner until I acquired a month or so ago. This truck was purchased new from a local Toyota dealer in Manchester NH. It has been garaged since day 1 and has never seen snow or salt. This truck is in as close to mint condition as possible. The muffler has been replaced with OEM parts. The rear bumper was repainted by the original owner- the bumper is original. The truck also was treated with Ultra Seal rust proofer (see picture). The truck has now been freshly detailed and treated with a paint sealant called Resistall that retails for $699. Just passed NH state inspection in the past 2 months. No rust anywhere on the truck. This truck is one in a million- I can guarantee you will not find another one like this anywhere else in the world. .. a true diamond in the rough. If the vehicle doesnt sell through eBay I am contacting the Toyota museum in California to see if they want it for their collection. This is an extremely original, and excellent example of a first generation Toyota pickup truck. This is an original paint truck, It gets looks everywhere, people even stop to take pictures of it regularly, it's just that nice. Same goes with the interior, it's also all original, never replaced or worked on, and it's excellent all around. It has excellent seats, crack free fresh looking dash top, and front. Even behind the seats is super Clean. No cracks or issues with any interior plastic, no sagging or ripped headliner, dome light even works! I've looked at all components, and as far as I can tell everything works, Toyota radio (including back light in dial), speakers, digital clock, wipers, everything. Oil is fresh as well, it has been maintained, and cared for very well. It's been a one owner truck, a 90 year old senior citizen that drove it very little. All I've done to the truck while it's been in my possession is clean/detail it. The truck is very clean top, and bottom. There aren't any of the typical rust issues on this one like is found on the typical daily driver pickup truck from this era.
I've driven the truck a little, not a lot. But, it drives like a new toyota. It's crisp, no strange noises, it starts, runs, and drives perfectly. I would not hesitate to drive this little truck absolutely anywhere on the continent. This is a once in a lifetime find, there just aren't that many left around in this kind of survivor condition. Lets face it, they're only original once, and not many still look, and smell new inside at 30 years of age. No leaks, doesn't drip anything on the driveway, doesn't lose coolant or run warm at all. Truck was professionally detailed yesterday, and is ready for it's new owner. Look at the pics, the truck really speaks for itself, nothing hidden here.
