1964 Triumph TR4
Purchased by our family in Maryland in 1972. Prior to our ownership car was reported to be used in some Gymkhana racing!
This is a very early steel dash TR4.

This '64 Triumph is nicely equipped with a Vanguard 2.1L inline 4 cylinder engine fed by a dual SU carburetors. Power is transferred to the wheels by a 4-speed manual transmission. Drive assist features include rack & pinion steering, front disc brakes with rear drum brakes. Independent front suspension and a live axle rear suspension.The 15-inch steel wheels with Triumph “Globe” trim caps.
After being off the road for 22 years, the TR went under a minior “refresh” in 2002 with many new parts installed. David Clark of “Sports Car Services” Vermont, even turned a wrench on it.
Car was last registered in 2008. Drove into barn in 2010, parked and has not been run since.
Car needs some TLC
Motor does turn over!
Clutch master cylinder is out of fluid
Driver door was sprung, minor crease and needs adjustment
It has had rust repair in the past
No heater box
Carbs may need a rebuild
Speedo not working so milage is a guess
