1979 Triumph Other

Triumph Other (1979)
for sale

Price: US $2,999.99

Description:

Very well-preserved classic Triumph sportscar. Car runs like a top, starts up immediately, and purrs like a kitten. This car is owned by my 95-year-old mother who just moved into a retirement home. She is the original owner and kept it in the garage for the last 36 years. She drove it about once a week, to the grocery store or to Church (no joke) and she was very gentle with it. She lives in a small town and never went very far. She maintained it well and had it serviced regularly.
The interior is virtually mint, with only the slightest wear and tear on a couple of the levers for the heat settings. The cloth/leather seats are in excellent condition, and only the driver's seat was ever used, but my 90-lb. mother sat on a pillow so it looks new, too. The sunroof opens and closes smoothly and easily.
The exterior has a long scratch on the passenger door from being scraped against the garage door opening when my mother slipped on ice in her driveway one day. Marginal rust at the bottom of the doors, and the pop-up headlights don't pop-up anymore. I think the brakes are due for replacement, but they don't squeak or make any other noise, so they might just need brake fluid.
The car is presently located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. If it doesn't sell by Sept. 27 I'm putting it on a car carrier and taking it to Oklahoma. I could deliver it enroute if need be. Otherwise buyer needs to pick it up wherever the car is (Canada, then in the US).
