This is a very attractive car that will make an excellent driver with a strong possibility of increasing in value in the near future! While not a show car, it could be with only a few details. Very few of these V-8 Triumphs were sold in the U.S. They were fast, handled well, and were comfortable for drivers of small stature. This particular car has been well sorted out and is ready to use. | “Always a southern car, this Triumph has undergone a complete mechanical restoration.It's original rover V-8 has been rebuilt with the addition of a mild cam, a new Offenhauser intake topped with a new Edelbrock 500 Carburetor. Electronic ignition has bee added along with new electric fan controls. The front & rear shocks, springs and tie rod ends are new. The exhaust, tires , and battery are also new. All gauges work with the exception of the fuel gauge. The interior and convertible top are excellent. The paints is new but has some blisters on the seams of the rear fenders. The uni-body is solid--the floors have been properly repaired. The car starts easily even after a long lay up, shifts well, and drives beautifully! The mileage is believed to be actual but State law requires the odometer to be listed as "exempt"!” |
