Features
An outstanding driving example of the best car British Leyland ever made. The original Triumph V-8 has been sorted and it can cruise all day at speed without any cooling issues. This is an excellent grand touring car in the British tradition, with amenities not usually found in this class. Fun to drive and the Michellotti stying is sensational, even today. The dual hardtop/soft top configuration extends the driving season well into the late fall and early spring. The Boscreen draft blocker makes top-down three season cruising very possible. The rear seats can accommodate adults, though probably not for long trips. History
Purchased in 2010 in Illinois. Anecdotally, its long term owner used it as a summer car only at a vacation home up north. Initial work in 2010 included overhaul of fuel tank, repair of boot floor rust, new tires, carburetor and brake overhaul. Major work described above completed in 2013. All work performed by professional Triumph mechanics.
