Beautiful 1947 Triumph 1800 2 Door Roadster Convertible. Built after WWII with aluminum body panels which translates to no rust. Restored with only the convertible fabric top to be completed. The fabric, rear window glass and the restoration manual are included. Also included are the Driver’s Instruction Book and the Technical Handbook. Engine starts right up with a touch of the starter button and the engine runs smooth and strong. The pictures tell the story. Bench seat for three and additional seating for two with the fold up “Dickey Seats” in the trunk with their own fold up windscreen. This was the last production car with dickey seats.
Hemmings Motor News printed: “About 4, 500 Roadsters were built, and none went to the U.S. The Triumph Roadster Club estimates the number of surviving examples worldwide at 1, 000. Today, prices range from $20, 000 to $30, 000 when these cars appear on the market.”
