1973 was the best year for the TR6 with minimal emission controls and the last year before the huge bumper overriders. This is an excellent driver that has been updated for reliability and comfort while keeping to near stock conditions. All stock parts have been saved & will come with the car. The seats are Miata leather buckets, replacing the 'boat cushion' stock seats; the originals are in good condition and are available separately or will be sold on eBay later. Engine rebuilt in 2007 with a street cam, Pertronics ignition, ported & polished manifold, shaved head, aluminum valve cover, new clutch & electric radiator fan. Runs & idles smooth & powerful; the overdrive drops the engine speed nicely to cruise at highway speeds. Stainless steel exhaust, full suspension rebuild with new shocks, urethane bushings, brakes w/silicone brake fluid & Goodparts trailing arm brackets so the rear wheels sit correctly. Alternator & carbs recently rebuilt. New Robbins convertible top in 2014 & car cover for the garage included. Dash gauge lights upgraded to led bulbs along with the running lights for reduced current draw but stock appearance. Headlights are Hella H4 halogen. The windscreen was replaced with a new tinted version from the Roadster Factory. Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo & a leather wrapped sport steering wheel. This was a Florida car & the only rust found was due to brake fluid on the floorpan-repaired. All chrome in excellent condition. Paint is in very good condition (Corvette anniversary maroon) and the Yokohama tires are barely worn. This car needs nothing & runs reliably. Selling because I need a new project.
