Up for auction is my friends nice 1971 Triumph TR-6. The car just had nearly $1600 spent on her in them last month. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. The car is located at my house in Charlotte North Carolina 28209.
Mechanical's: The car runs and drives great and she is ready for the open road. The car was just serviced last month. The service included a complete tune up which included new points, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, new rotor button , new ignition wires, new air filters installed, oil changed, new oil filter, radiator coolant serviced, new radiator air intake duct installed. transmission fluid and the rear end fluids where topped off as well. Also, the brakes where just gone through including a new brake master cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders and new rear brake shoes. The carburetors where balanced / tuned correctly last month as well. The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. The mileage is 56, 828 and is believed to be original miles. Electrical's: This area was recently gone through and is in very good condition with the following items in working order. Headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, dash lights work, radio works and blower fan works.
Gauges. The gauges are all correct Smith brand and are in working order.
Interior: Is in nice overall condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Exterior: This is a correct paint code #32 Signal Red car ( no color change here ). The soft top is brand new and was just installed last week. The car shows well in the photos but the paint is showing some age ( imperfections & blemishes ). No she is not a show car just a driver quality car. Soft Top: The soft top is brand new and was just installed last week. It is a quality top with the rear zip out rear window option. Trunk: The trunk is rock solid. Reserve Price: The reserve is set a very low $8, 000 and the car will be selling this week to highest bidder so no guess work on if this one is going to sell. Offers: Yes I'm open to offers but they must be above the current bid price. Title: I have a clear North Carolina state issued title in hand.
