Price: US $200.00

Description:

While this car looks to be a stock TR6, there is a lot of good stuff going on behind the sheet-metal!A previous owner bought the car in the late 90's and proceeded to upgrade it with slalom and track days in mind.
Key Features:
Engine-overhauled, including pistons. Kent camshaft/ lifters with adjustable timing gear. A nicely done Triple SU HS6 carburetor conversion installed along with a Facet fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. The fuel tank has been replaced with an alloy unit. The ignition system has been upgraded to electronic with a high performance coil and a rev limiter. A header and Monza-style exhaust system lets the engine breath freely. Other features included are an black alloy valve cover, spin on oil filter adapter and oil cooler.
Cooling System-Aluminium radiator shroud feeding an electric cooling fan with thermostatic/manual controls.
Transmission/Overdrive-shifts smoothly and does not make any unusual noises. A heavy duty clutch was installed. The car is equipped with an overdrive transmission however it does not engage.
Differential-upgraded with a limited slip conversion kit.
Suspension-Competition springs front and rear, Koni shocks front, rear shocks converted to tube. 7/8 inch front sway bar and 3/4 inch rear bar.
Electrical-Master battery switch installed. Gauges upgraded to Autometer Phantom series-all work and are accurate.
Safety-Corbeau seats added along with a Schroth competition seat harness for the driver as well as a nicely proportioned roll bar.
Exterior-the car was painted in 2001 and still shows nicely. The car currently does not have a top on it but comes with a new-in-the-box deluxe dark blue cloth top which will be installed at no charge to the buyer.
Interior-in nice condition with newer wooden dash and crash pads along with newer body seals.
Repairs/maintenance-available are numerous service records documenting repairs to the hydraulic systems, u-joint replacement, wheel bearing replacement, brake booster replacement, suspension bushing replacement and more..
Records-The vast majority of the work done on this car was professionally performed by Sports and Imports of Ft. Myers, Florida. Included with the car is a comprehensive set of receipts from them and others. Manuals and installation instructions for some of the upgrades are available as well.
I am listing this car for the owner, a long-time Triumph enthusiast. I have owned 5 TR6's and have driven this car and can honestly say that it pulls like a freight train and drives like it is on rails.
I will be unavailable to answer questions until 5/9/2016, which is the last day of the auction. If you have questions please call the owner, Bob at 1-850-376-1439
