The bid is for this solid 1971 Triumph TR6 classic. This is a solid rust free vehicle. I've been the caretaker on it for the last 8 years. I've kept it basically stock. It has a new brake booster, new clutch slave cylinder, newly rebuilt rear Armstrong shock absorbers, New spark plug wires, Pertronix electronic ignition, new aluminum radiator, new radio antenna, all new original style green radiator and heater hoses, new fuse box, new electric wire connectors, new high torque starter motor, new front and rear brake pads and shoes, all new fluids including brake fluid flush. The car comes with a very nice black tonneau cover. I have a space saver spare tire in the boot to save weight. I will include the regular sized redline spare tire. I will also include the factory TR6 repair manual. The car has four new old stock Michelin tires. They have 90 percent tread but they are old. The twin carbs need either adjusting or maybe a rebuild. On startup after sitting for over a week the choke has to be pulled about half way out. After that it always starts right up with out a problem, The new aluminum radiator keeps the temps well waiting range even on 90 degree plus days. This TR6 has been garaged kept every since I've owned it and hasn't seen any rain or snow.I have too many cars and travel too much to give it the attention it needs. I've enjoyed my time with this car but it's time for someone else to enjoy this eye-catching car. It has become a classic and rust free cars are becoming harder to find especially at this price.
