Up for auction is my 1976 TR6. I am the second owner of the car that I purchased in 1979. The engine was rebuilt last year with the following replaced/renewed: crankshaft bearings, thrust washers, rebuilt water pump (flying dutchman), new timing chain (reynolds), timing gears, GP2 camshaft, oil pump, laycock clutch, valves and valve guides, pushrods, and new hoses. The radiator was pressure checked as well. The transmission was also rebuilt professionally by Quantum Mecahnics. The original carbs were also professionally rebuilt by a well known rebuilder. I would call the car a 10 footer. There is one small area of rust on the drivers rear fender. The paint is faded and could use a respray at some point in the future. Over all, a good driver and good looking car that is still very original. The car also has a factory hardtop. The original headliner is still in place. There is not a soft top for the car but the frame is available to have one fitted should the new owner desire. The car has always been garaged. Contact me for a video link that details the car. The dash was replaced as well as the crash pads, new seat covers and foam, door panels and new carpet. The car was also rewired 4 years ago. The original alternator was also replaced.
I will help in coordinating the shipping of the car. The redline tires are old and have been on the car since approximately 1985. I would plan on replacing those.
