Up for auction is my friends very nice 1975 Triumph TR-6. The car just had $1500 spent on her last week. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Heritage: This is a true numbers matching car and I have ordered the British Heritage Certificate from England that will clearly prove that it is and I'll have it sent to the new owner when it arrives. The cars commission date was April 1975, paint code #82 Carmine red and the interior trim code is #74 Beige.
Mechanicals: The car runs and drives well and she is ready for the open road. The car was just serviced last week. The service included a complete tune up which including new points, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, new rotor button , new ignition wires, oil changed, new oil filter, radiator coolant serviced, transmission fluid and the rear end fluids where topped off as well. The carburetors where balanced / tuned correctly last week as well. The engine is drum tight and there are absolutely no fluid drips or leaks under the car. The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. The car handles well and sits on 4 matching brand new radial tires which where installed last week.. Electrical's: This area was completely gone through last week and is in excellent condition with the following items in working order. Headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, wiper washer motor works, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, radio works ( it was just replaced / upgraded last week ) and blower fan works.
Gauges. The gauges are all correct Smith brand.
Interior: Is in nice condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Exterior: The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person. The doors, front hood and trunk lid fit well and the car sits nicely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. No she is not a show car just a nice driver quality car. Soft Top: The soft top is brand new and was just installed last week. It is a quality top with the rear zip out rear window option. Trunk: The trunk is rock solid. Underbody: The underbody is in very nice condition and photos are available upon request. Reserve Price: The reserve is set at a low $7500 Offers: Yes I'm open to offers but they must be above the current bid price. Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders.
