1972 Triumph TR6 Project, one owner California car
This California TR6 was sold new in Santa Monica and lived at the same house in Ventura county for the rest of it life until I purchased it. One owner from 1972 until 2015. It has now been sitting since 2003.
The engine runs great with no smoke or noises and 60 lbs oil pressure. It has dual Webers on it instead of the Strombergs.
The body is excellent and rust free. It had one repaint in its original Sienna color but is now faded and checked. There are a couple of small dents here and there. One floor pan was rusty at the front under the pedal area and we have replaced it with a new floor section properly welded in place. Overall the car is nice and straight and there are no other rusty areas anywhere.
The interior is nice but needs carpets. The top is old and not good. There is the original tonneau and top cover in the trunk. Dash is complete and gauges are working. Brakes will of course need doing.
This car has great bones and would be an easy restoration of a very solid California car. I have a clear California pink slip title and the car is available for viewing at our shop in Ventura. We have restored dozens of Triumphs and know them inside and out. We reserve the right to remove from ebay as the car is advertised locally. Thanks!
