This 1975 Triumph has had only two owners. The last owner owned it since 1984. He drove it until 1991 when he parked it for the winter and never took it out of the garage again. Unfortunately he covered it with a car cover and trapped moisture next to the paint and it developed a lot of surface rust. There is very little rust through and refinishing it would not require too much work. The left rear fender is the only bad place on the car. It needs to be replaced or at least a patch kit installed aft of the drivers door. The frame is in very good condition as are the floors. The carpet is like new and the pads show no stains or deterioration. The seats are in good shape but need new covers. The engine runs good, but the clutch is stuck and we do not want to remove the transmission to get it unstuck. We rebuilt the clutch hydraulics and it still would not release.To get the engine started we replaced the fuel pump and serviced the carbs. We also installed a new starter and battery. The electrical system is in good order. The brakes will need some work. They do not leak and have not been bled. The top is in good condition and all the glass is good.The body is straight, the doors open and close nicely and the gaps are good. You are bidding on a car with great potential. This is as original as you are likely to find . It has 75, 000 original miles. The tires on the car replaced the original ones that came on it new.This would be an easy restoration and you would have a solid car with low miles for a minimal investment.
