Just freshly painted, this 1978 Super Beetle convertible has fuel injection and runs like a top. My German mechanic has gone all through the car and it is mechanically a great little runner. I've had it for two and a half years while I was redoing it. It has always been a west coast car and has no rust anywhere. The transmission is smooth, as smooth as any VW beetle. The tires have plenty of tread. In the photos the drivers side headlamp looks dark, I have replaced that headlamp. The car has new interior door panels and dash top, new side mirrors and new trim. People love this car, I get a lot of comments and smiles and thumbs up. It's just really a fun car to drive especially on a nice summer day with the top down. The reserve is set at the NADA low retail for this car, so it's a great deal at that price.
