Mexico manufactured original air-cooled beetles until the 2004 model year (US stopped manufacturing Beetles ~1979).
This is a 1997 Mexican manufactured beetle installed on a 1968 pan so it could be registered in the US. The beetle has been registered in Florida, and currently registered in Texas ... no problem transferring title.
Here's why this beetle is worth it:
Very Rare: 1997 Beetle...think about it...20-30 years newer than any US beetle you can find in the US (metal, wiring, interior, engine, paint, etc).
