The paint is in fantastic shape – a fine-grit compounding is all it needs
The power windows work

The heated mirrors work as well as their motion adjustment
The power locks works (well sometimes the driver’s side has a bad hair day now and then)
The cruise control works
The variable intermittent wipers work
Here are the known issues with the car:
AC not working, however, it has a new AC Behr compressor (2013) I am told it needs a clutch for the compressor.
Center Console - hinge is broken
Multi CD Changer not working – last I used the CD, the player worked fine, the changer doesn’t
Front grille has a crack – I snap it in, and after a while it pops out.
Has a silver driver’s side mirror replacement. I still have original if ya’ wanna’ swap mounting brackets
Check-Engine light is on - I pulled the code.
P0420 is an O2 sensor
, but doesn’t specify. I’m guessing you can do a little more digging for info, but I bet this info is fairly accurate, as I pulled it from the “New Beetle
” forum.
Missing 2 “hub” caps – the little center things…
1 Plastic AC/Heater Duct doesn’t adjust well
Drivers side power lock is Bi-polar; it works unpredictably!
