Hello, I have this 1959 VW Bug Baja. This bug is a Type 1 with a Clear New Mexico Title in my name. I have enjoyed working on this Baja. I have installed many new parts: Rear Main Seal, Flywheel.. Clutch Assembly, Clutch Bearing, Starter, Starter Bushing, Distributor, Carburator, Battery, Voltage Regulator, Master Cyclinder, All Wheel Cylinders. Fresh Tune up Etc. This Baja runs good and Strong! The transmission is 1968 ( Swing Arm Type ) The transmission shifts good. This Baja has only been Off Road a couple of times mostly to cruise the dirt roards hear in New Mexico. The Speed Domitor works. Attn. This VW does not have much rust if any, The pan is very clean as well as under the carpet. Missing one door glass.. others are in tact and in good shape. Can register as a legal street driver. Wiper motor is there as well as the brake switch. Bright switch, Blinkers are also there. Currently has head lights with a single running light. has a old school fuel reserve handle if in case you run out of gas. Its has a Bolt on Tow bar two inch ball and tracks well with is Byas ply Tires. Has adapters in front. I am selling this bug as is.
