You are bidding on a 1960 Volkswagen Beetle. It's been my daily driver ever since I've owned it (the past 3 1/2 yrs.) ..Very dependable runs, shifts and stops as per it should. .It has a 1972 1600cc Engine and transaxle . .dual carbs and hydrolic lifters...Handles freeway speed easily and still gets 28-30m.p.g.!! it has also been converted to a 12V electric system. its steering and suspension are nice and firm...no play...no dents, very clean body... heater, wipers lights, all work. .Nicely restored newer interior and head liner...not a show car, but a very nice 55 year old classic bug. ...Turns heads everywhere I drive it! The paint job does show small chips and scratches, and there are two areas of rust that I want to talk about...#1 the well in the trunk where the spare tire sits has an area of rust out the measures about 1X 6 where they always collect water..and #2. the passenger side rear floor board has a rust out that is about as big as two quarters side by side. .I have pop riveted aluminum patches in these spots (someone with a welder could patch both of these places in an afternoon with steel patches if so desired, these are minor issues on a bug this old. .I just want to have full disclosure with all who would want to buy)...any questions 615 319-3084 ask for Bill . .Thanks for checking out my Bug!!!
