1967 Beetle with lots of new stuff For those of you who don't know, this is an important year for the Vw beetle and I encourage you to look it up.
Single port 1500cc (Engine number is H 5174074)
30 Pict carb
Vacuum Advance Electronic Pertronix distributor
Bosch blue coil
Bosch Spark plug wires and plugs
No heat exchangers on it, just J-tubes
Sachs clutch
Main wiring harness is new
Newer turn signal switch (1967 only) wolfsburg west part. All lights working
New battery
New main wiring harness
Brakes:
Stock drums , wide 5 bolt pattern
Exterior:
PPG Paint
All new chrome including bumpers
Windows in good shape
New window seals and fender beading
Hood, fenders and decklid insides all coated in gator guard (black)
Interior:
Retro sound radio w/ aux input and fm radio
Sent speedo out for rebuild however the speed is off (reads slower) and odometer stuck at 00001.
Seat upholstery all newer and in very good shape including headliner, door panels and carpet
Trunk area painted with POR15
Rarely driven clean car.
Car appears to have been originally blue.
Sold AS IS. Everything works but no matter what you do, alot of this car is still 48 years old.Pans appear to be original and in pretty good shape, no holes or patches anywhere!!
If you really want to choose to drive this car home several thousand miles I do NOT know whether or not it will make it for three reasons. For one, it is old and well, you never know... And two, the car is rarely driven and when it is, its only local. And lastly, I do not have a crystal ball...
That being said, its a good running beetle but I can only SUGGEST that you ship the car wherever it is that it may be headed...
