Up for sale is a 1972 VW Super Beetle. Car was found while clearing out a storage unit. 79, 000 original miles, and it has a 3 speed auto-stick transmission (basically, a manual transmission without the clutch pedal). Supposedly has a fairly new rebuilt engine. The car runs and drives very well, and the transmission shifts surprisingly smooth. The exterior has minimal rust, and the original paint is in pretty good shape. No power steering, and no power brakes; however, the brakes work well. This is a very simple, and straight-forward car (like a go-kart). All original, and untouched. The interior is pretty nice for how old it is. Seats are in great shape, but the bottom of the rear bench is missing. Has a white vinyl headliner which is also in excellent shape. Paint is in good shape for the age as well. This beetle would make a great starting point for anyone looking to restore it, or just as a daily grocery getter. Please ask for any pictures or ask any questions you have prior to bidding. This is an all-around good, original car. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close, and I have a clean, clear New Jersey title in hand.
