This 1969 vw beetle looks incredible with it candy green and ice white pearl paint! The green is a custom house of color candy green over electric green we named GANJA GREEN The white is a Lexus ice white pearl. The paint used on this cool little bug is basecoat/clearcoat from diamont.There are a couple little bubbles but nothing to be really concerned about.This is not a 100 point show car, but a very, very nice driver.
The previous owner had the engine built about 200 miles before I purchased the car. It was built using a new aluminum case with a counter weighted 69mm crankshaft, and 94mm pistons for a displacement of 1915cc's. A new alternator, new weber carb, and electronic point 009 distributor was also installed. Basically still a new engine. The engine has a small oil drip that I intend to get fixed before winning bidder takes delivery. As for the clutch it engages/disengages smoothly without shudder or slipping. Has new heater boxs and a tuck away exhaust The front end has a adjustable front beam with new 2 dropped spindles and disc brakes. all new ball joints, tie rods and steering dampener and shocks. The wheels are brand new chrome empi sprint stars mounted with brand new 145r15s in the front and 165/70/15 in the rear.
Interior by scat with procar seats and door panels, The carpet is loop gray. The headliner is very nice and appears to have been replaced the same time as the rest of the interior. The divers seat has a couple seams that are pulling a little and the door panles have alittle curling on the corners. All the lights and turn signals work as they should.
