1986 VW VanagonThis is a manly looking van ready for some off roading and getting to your favorite place in the desert or mountains. The van is a bit rough on the outside (scrapes, bruises, dents). It has some superficial rust in the scraspes or dents, but is free from serious rust. The interior is far from pristine. Looks like a work van. It can come with the middle double bench if you want it. If you want to use it with the rear seat flat for sleeping the middle bench has to come out. It looks the tough and rough part. Go Westy lift kit and brand new large wheels with 15 BF Goodrich off road tires. It has a heart of gold in a newly rebuilt 2.1 engine done right, new cam/rod/main bearing, new pistons & cylincers, new heads, new fuel injection h oses and the cooling system part were replaced as needed with a brand new water pump. Manual transmission with a new clutch. Axle boots are good, brakes good. Needs no work. I have done it all. This is a rugged vehicle. The luggare rack and box complete the utility and the looks. This van can not be cheap because of all the work that has been done to it. Value of A newly rebuilt engine - $3500. A set of terrain tires and wheels - $2000. Rack and Box - $700. If you are looking for a great van and a 100% paint job is not really important to you - This is a great van for the money - $5500. I want to sell it - so come and take a look, and make me a good offer. Clean AZ title, speedo shows very low mileage, I can not substantiate with paperwork, it feels like it could be the correct mileage (less than 56k)
